About the Author
Kasturi Moodaliyar is a senior lecturer of competition law at the University of Witwatersrand’s School of Law and a former enforcement and exemptions investigator and merger analyst. She is an appeal tribunal member of the Film and Publication Board and an adjudicating member of ICASA’s Complaints and Compliance Commission. She is the coordinating editor for the Butterworths Competition Law Reports and has been published internationally. Simon Roberts is chief economist and manager of the Policy & Research Division of the Competition Commission of South Africa and a former manager of the Enforcement & Exemptions Division of the same. He has been published widely, including in the Journal of African Economies, the Journal of Competition Law and Economics, the Journal of International Development, and the South African Journal of Economics. They both live in Johannesburg.
